1st time customer. Received a tri-tip today. It was delivered flawlessly to my cooler which was recommended. The roast was packaged nicely and looked awesome!. Appears to have a ton of marbling. Its thawing in the fridge now and will go on the smoker in a couple days after a dry brine. Can’t wait. I’ll post another review of the final results. Thanks for the great service.
Follow up from earlier comment. Tri-tip came out awesome! Dry brined overnight with Kosher salt, coarse pepper, and garlic powder. Threw it on the smoker at 225 with oak pellets until 115 internal (about 45 mins). Seared over fire until 130 internal. Rested while it came up to about 138. A little bit of work but the results were well worth it. Meant to take a pic to share but the family ate it up before I thought of it. I’ll be a returning customer for sure. Thanks!
